日本の皆さま、こんにちは！
この度、新たにBASFジャパン農薬事業部長（日本・韓国統括）に就任いたしました、スバーシュ・マーカドです。インドより来日して一ヵ月が過ぎ、このような素晴らしい国、日本で、様々な経験をさせていただいています。家庭的な温かさと、友好的な職場環境、また仕事に対してはとても熱心な文化があると感じました。
私はこれまで、インドで26 年間、農業分野での職務経験があります。経歴としては、BASFインディア、シンジェンタ、ノバルティス、チバ、ユニリーバなどの企業で、営業とマーケティングに従事しました。プネ農業大学（College of Agriculture, Pune）で農業を専攻し、学位取得、プネ大学（University of Pune）でヒューマンリソースの修士号を取得しています。
この一ヵ月は、北海道、東北、関東／甲信越、名古屋、大阪、千葉県成東にあるアグソリューションファーム（弊社研究所）などに出向いて現場を視察し、大変興味深い経験をさせていただきました。一部お客様への訪問も実現し、有意義な時間を過ごすことができました。
日本での生活においては、現在オフィスの近くに滞在しており、日本食、特に刺身、寿司、天ぷら、味噌汁など、できる限り日本の食文化に触れ、楽しんでいるところです。また、日本語の勉強も始めています。
これから、日本の生産者の皆さまと共に、さらなる発展を促す改革をしていけることを、楽しみにしています。社員一丸となって邁進し、今以上に活気のあるチームを作り、新たな改革と地域の発展と共に、これからの日本の農業を支えていきたいと思っています。

Hello Japan!
I am Subhash Markad new Business Director for AP Japan & Korea. Today, I completed 1 month in Japan and it is a fabulous experience to be in a great country like Japan. I felt homely warmth, sincere and friendly colleagues around and overall a hard working culture.
I am an Indian with 26 years of experience in Agro inputs and precisely Agro chemicals and worked in BASF India, Syngenta, Novartis, Ciba Geigy and Unilevers. The experience is in sales and marketing all though the career. Study happened in Pune, with graduation in Agriculture and Master’s in Personnel Management (HR).
This first month was very interesting and fulfilling and very happy to meet almost all the employee in the office and field. Travelling to Hokkaido, Tohoku, Kanto & Koshinetsu, Nagoya, Osaka and Naruto was a great experience to spend meaningful.
About my personal life in Japan. Right now staying very close by office in a serviced apartment. I am enjoying all possible Japanese food – Sashimi, Sushi, tempura, Miso……and enjoying it. Also, learning Japanese from a teacher and around me.
Finally, I look forward to working to bring in positive change in the life farmers here in Japan. Our team will strive to focus on bringing new innovations, developing local talent and making the teams more vibrant and happy.
